GROUPS

Interest groups are at the heart of the u3a activities and are run by the members for the members. You don't have to join a group. but it's an excellent way to make new friends and share interests with like-minded people.

Most groups meet once a month, usually in hired accommodation or in group members' homes. But some, such as Walking, Outings or Bird Watching, will meet at different venues each month.

All interest groups are self-financing. Depending on the activity, there may be additional charges to cover room hire, materials, refreshments (50p) and entry fees.

Members may join as many groups as they like (subject to availability of spaces). Occasionally, a group may have a waiting list, so it is advisable to contact the Group Leader to check if there is a space. Please show your current Horley & District u3a membership card when joining a group.
