Early Medieval History Group - Jill Jilani. Please contact me via the email link above.

The group has been exploring the period from the departure of the Roman legions from Britain, in 410 AD.

This  year we will be researching the 8th century, including:   key personalities & events, cultural developments, and the contributions of archaeology.

The monthly sessions are based on members contributing topics agreed in advance. This will amount to everyone presenting two/three papers each year. Ideally, two papers will be presented at each meeting, lasting about 20 minutes each, with time for discussion and a refreshment break between papers.

We are all here to learn, but have a pleasurable afternoon.

Anyone interested, please contact the Early Medieval Group Leader - Jill Jilani (jill.jilani@gmail.com) for further information.

The Group now has vacancies.
